Sure, it's dress casual, but it stops a 9mm round from punching through you. Does that make it worth $12,000? Probably not, since a standard Kevlar (and other) vest runs for a fraction of that, and would make me feel a bit safer, and with that, you can wear whatever your want over it. However, you want to pick this up, hit up Miguel Caballero's (terrible) website. He's got plenty of 'security fashion' to choose from.
Perhaps it makes more sense if your the iron fisted dictator of some war-torn nation with your citizen's knickers in a bunch... but maybe it's time to live a little, and buy some fashions that will keep you safe on the rough and tumble streets of Suburban Colorado.
