Pretty straight forward...

Things for me...

are actually pretty normal. But, I must say that I've been a bit busy, mostly playing Company of Heroes and working. I did mention the party that happened on Saturday, and since then, a couple of things happened. I will highlight them.

Snow stopped...

... and I admired nature's beauty...

All of this leads me to the real prize...

Saturday's Lunar Eclipse.

I got a chance to snap off a couple shots of the lunar eclipse that happened on Saturday. I'm a little upset that I didn't get enough warning to set up my tripod and really get it right, but, still, I think what I got turned out pretty good.

NASA has eclipse info. I guess this one was supposed to be a big deal because it was the first time in a very long time it was visible from all seven continents. I think...

anyway... on to the thing you really care about...

Tower Defense

a.k.a 'Great Time Waster'

I'd like to think of Tower Defense as a mini-RTS for those moments when you just don't have enough to do. It's easy to get sucked into trying to kill wave after wave of evil circles, tear drops and those evil flying triangles.

Check it out.

Speedpainting

I can never watch enough of this shit. This is 3 hours of Photoshop work compressed down to 5 minutes. It's pretty astounding work.

A movie about a font?

Yep, Helvetica from Veer. A movie. About a typeface. It's a movie. Font. Movie.

Yeah. I got nothing.

Whisky Tango Foxtrot abounds!

Seriously... I don't get Sony. I've tried, I really have. But, they are just so fucking bizarre! Like that baby PS3 commercial. What was up with that? How about the eggs that turn in to Crows. WHAT!?!?

Now, here's something that really doesn't make a lick of sense.

www.thisisliving.tv

Go there. Watch the video. Despair.

Seriously, what the hell? First, it has nothing to do with the Playstation 3. Second, it's got nothing to do with anything. We've got some sort of strange transvestite, a grenade, an ugly dog, a Spanish villa, and asplodin' money filled suitcases.

What. Are. You. Doing.

Now, I really understand that Sony seems to thrive off bizarre marketing. It seems that they feel this really gives them some sort of edge. And, to their credit, it does become memorable.

Still, crazy lipstick lady and guy in wife-beater really does not inspire me to buy a PS3. Sorry, this doesn't make it worth $600.

Please try again.

Is that it?

For now it is. As always, I'll be back, and you'll read. It'll be good, just let it happen.
