just a quick note...

i'm fairly exhausted after a long day at work and an even longer night at chuck e. cheese's.

my younger daughter, moira, turned 5 yesterday, and, ever the little angel, she recalled the promise i made her last year at her sister's birthday party, where i told her that she could go to chuck e. cheese's this year for her birthday.

you can't welch on that sort of thing...

so, tonight we went for a few hours. it was fun, at least, my girls had fun. i got a lot of pics that i'll hopefully get up into picassa sooner or later... you can see the joy of it. we left with around $45 worth of pizza in our bellies and cheap plastic trinkets in tow.

luckily, being a monday night, it was not very busy. also, i think the new dave and busters just up the street might be stealin' away some of their business.


mar. 2nd is my older daughter's (tristan rose) 7th birthday. i've got to come up with something for that, now that she's old enough to have her little friends come with her somewhere, i'm sure that it will have to be something novel and different.

now accepting ideas that won't bankrupt me.
