motley crüe / aerosmith in minnesota

so, i went to the motley crüe / aerosmith show... it was good, big venue (the target center... where the timberwolves work their tragic... i mean magic).

the crüe was up to their usual antics, some features included a near full fireworks display and various other pyro technics giving off enough heat to be felt 15 rows back... scantily clad women in cages dangle over the stage, tommy lee shouting when i say motley you say crue... and several other scantily clad women, and a couple that actually looked like really pretty men... on the last chord they dipped off the fucking stage and the house lights came up, not one word of thanks or goodbye... typical fair.

enter aerosmith... for being nearly 60 steven tyler's still the man... he puts on a damn good show... unlike vince neil, whose voice is gone all to shit, where the sound techs had to fight damn hard to keep his mic at a decent level, he still belts his shit like a champ... their show is all about the green lasers... and some shabbily put together comicbook art type videos... but all in all, it was a good time... i saw aerosmith a few years back, and i have to say, their age definitely seems to be getting to them, though... i mean, hell, it was over by 11:20, they got going at about 9:50...

this isn't a show i'd normally shell out money for, but, the tickets were free, and the company was good... and good times were had by all... unfortunately, i didn't tote my camera with me, and i really regret that... when i get a chance i'm going to see if any of my 1.1mp shots from my cell phone came out, and if so, i will post them up in my scraps.
